The international sports rights agency has a World Cup event planned for Sentosa, and is clamping down on others who intend to charge the public to attend unauthorised viewing parties. ORGANISERS planning to host live viewing parties of World Cup matches in Singapore next month have run into licensing trouble.
Wharf House, a Singapore-based firm, said it has secured the exclusive rights from world football body Fifa to organise commercial public screenings of World Cup matches here.
The international sports rights agency has a World Cup event planned for Sentosa, and is clamping down on others who intend to charge the public to attend unauthorised viewing parties.
