Not forgetting fish soup, yong tau foo, beef ball noodles, ayam penyet, mee goreng, lor mee and bak chor mee, char kway teow with shiny vege on top, etc etc

Hehehe. That is one of the few HC I like. The closest alternative HC will be the one behind ICA liaoz (Think North Bridge road). Worth trying.

Maxwell market is also close for 2 months from 28/29 Sept till 30 Nov for "renovation".
Hope to eat the self-service 咸煎饼(chinese donut) before closing, have not eat for a few years...

Maxwell market is also close for 2 months from 28/29 Sept till 30 Nov for "renovation".
