Father & son run the best town councils

on a serious note, I do not understand what is the purpose of this report. From the way I look at it, to put the good town councils in good light while the not so good ones in the dumps?

Or to really highlight how town councils are using council funds to manage the flats? 1 report, 2 purposes. Info and political. The 2nd purpose is quite a cheap shot:(

Obviously, a bloody dirty cheap shot. GE iscoming ?
We were surprised the father & son tag-team run the best town councils in Singapore (not the world ?) as they are flying all over the world very frequently every month and we doubt whether they got the time to just take a look at the HDB estates ?
Who are the assessors or judges ?All MIW agents ?
The greatest joke to hoodwink stupid Sinkees ?

<< MP Teo Ho Pin, chairman of the 14 PAP councils, said they were able to do well because 'we share our best practices at meetings every two months'. >>

those that did well in cleanliness, probably it was becos their chye who still don't have the guts to buy a big bundle of chai sim at only $1.

p.s. "who's aware that they do that?"

Grace Fu is the daughter of James Fu, former Principal Private Sec to LKY.

They shld do a residents' survey with questions on accountability, transparency, financial management, security, and lift maintenance and collection of conservancy fees.

It seems that the secret of a top-ranked town council is to be led by PM, MM, SM or DPM!

This report prepared by MoS Grace Fu is really disgracefully. To me, it is an utter waste of taxpayers money for political propaganda!

Shame that the once mighty PAP has fallen this low!

Most of the residents don't understand the first 2 and in some cases, the third.

The two worst performers are run by the opposition: Hougang, by the Workers' Party's Low Thia Khiang, and Potong Pasir by the Singapore People's Party's Chiam See Tong.

Their low grades are due mainly to the bigger proportion of homes failing to pay their service and conservancy charges (S&CC) for at least three months.

Why does these wards vote opposition? because the MPs there care fopr the people and would not go chase people for not paying.

Its like: You want mercy and comparsion? Vote SPP and WP.

You wnat legal loansharks? Vote PAP.
