THREE people were burnt alive when the car they were travelling in crashed along Loyang Avenue last night and burst into a giant fireball.
No details about the victims were available, but police said they were killed on the spot.
The Subaru car they were in was headed towards Changi Village around 9pm when the accident occurred.
Police said it skidded off the road and into a tree along the road divider before going up in flames.
Singapore Civil Defence Force officers, who arrived on the scene shortly after police were called, took 15 minutes to put out the blaze.
They then discovered the charred bodies of the three victims. Paramedics later pronounced them dead.
Witnesses said the blaze was so big that it could be seen from several traffic light stops away.
Said one, Madam Rohana Kahar, 37, who was headed to her home in Pasir Ris at the time: 'The flames reached the height of a tree. I also heard several explosions.' Police are investigating.

modern car have fuel supply cut off during the crash
and also fuel tank now very strong will not leak fuel too easily.

[thanks god, did not involve any innocent party, but poor tree got to be hit by the wrecks, for the decease, due to did not cause any hurt to other motorist, i said "rip"
 
Must be speeding along the long bend before reaching Changi Village and then lost control...

Subaru AWD car somemore, must be speeding above 140km/hr to lose traction and ram into tree...

Ah neh with filipino mistress and one unknown lady killed, neh's wife said its retribution.
 
The victims are an Indian man (aged 47), a Filipino woman (aged 22) and another unidentified woman.

According to the Chinese tabloids, the man's wife said that her husband was having an affair and served him right to die in the crash! :eek:
