THE National Wages Council (NWC) is seeking views from the public and organisations ahead of its deliberations on wage-related guidelines for 2010/2011.
In coming up with its guidelines, NWC will be looking at factors such as global, regional and local economic performance and outlook, Singapore's cost competitiveness, labour market conditions, productivity and rewards to workers for their contribution.
Members of the public and organisations can send their views to NWC by April 16.
The NWC, chaired by Prof Lim Pin, Professor of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, consists of members from employer, union and government representatives.

Probably only employers need submit views.

Foreseen conclusion : Need to reduce wages or increase qouta for FTs.

Why bother if you are under categories of a peasant or lesser mortal ?

Only Members need to respond...those without the mark or affliation, forget it.
