[h=1]Misusing the S’pore flag – MDA’s double standards?[/h]This is a report in the Straits Times on 8 August 2013:

This picture below is from a rock concert by the foreign band, The Used, held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Singapore in May 2013:

Obvious question:
Why is the Media Development Authority (MDA) taking issue with Wild Rice’s use of the flag in a stage play, but apparently did not take any action against The Used (or the concert promoter) for desecrating our flag?
By the way, MPs will be asking questions about trust in our public institutions when Parliament next sits. I think trust in our public institutions can be maintained or even enhanced if these institutions enforce or implement rules fairly.
