Wow, thank you for your essay. I read it and understand your angle. I agree that China made use of western investments in the country to forward their own agenda. Singapore did the same too when we were a young and struggling nation. So nothing wrong with that. It's a win/win arrangement for both parties.

Personally, as an Asian (mostly Asian that is), I would like to see Asia leading the world in most aspects of human endeavor. And it looks to be so in the coming century. China will bring and lead us in that direction. Historically, western powers have plundered our region and I detest that. They colonised us and made us their subjects. The Brits, French, Dutch, Americans, Portuguese had their field day at our expense. And we're just slowly rising up again. Frankly, it's wonderful to see their countries and systems failing, they deserve it. Fuck the white man.

So many other things to present to you, so I suggest you listen/watch the arguments for China by these brilliant folks. Jeffrey Sachs, Kishore Mahbubani, and even George Yeo. Some might call them China Shills, but they make very good arguments.
