For the second day in a row, Straits Times has chosen to run yet another long article today, on the need for precautions when driving overseas. Coming at the end of the June peak travelling holiday season, and on the back of three reported accidents involving deaths in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, it certainly has shown no empathy nor compassion for the families and friends of those who have lost their lives. If they are 'serious' about being caring, they should be running such articles in late May each year.

But then again, why should I be surprised?
