Ex-spouse, dependants should be able to protest re-marriage approval.
For a divorcee to get re-married, his ex-spouse(s) and kids should be informed and allowed to protest the re-marriage on the grounds of unsettled maintenance payments etc.
If maintenance hasn't been paid, the kids/ ex-spouse can demand a trust fund etc be set up as a condition of remarriage etc and judge support this requirement with a performance injunction and commitment to repay(fulfill) liabilities by the couple to be, before approving the new marriage. If the ex-spouse is dead/ incapacitated/ underaged, his guardian/next of kin will have the right to protest.
The new spouse to be should be made aware of the ex-marriage and liabilities outstanding and will be made 50% liable should the divorced spouse lapse in his responsibilities outstanding from his prior marriage. The fulfillment of these responsibilities may be a consideration towards a court granting a subsequent divorce and may invite orders upon the new couple, now jointly, for compensation to be paid for liabilities from marriages prior.
Society shouldn't have to bear the financial burdens from citizens unfaithful in marriage and who abandon/ betray their spouses and kids.
