My toes are laughing at this pathetic attempt to lionize Liew Mun Leong. Capitaland was formed as part of a government portfolio restructuring exercise which resulted in a merger of 2 subsidiaries of DBS and ST. Liew, as a trusted henchman was simply appointed by Temasek to head the newly merged entity as a professional manager.
How on earth can he be described as Captialand's founding President and CEO in the normal sense of the word as we understand?
The other guy was the much more experienced guy in property management - Han xxx and Liew had almost zero experience in this field.
And his company was the one being taken over by DBS Land. Han was more of a straight talker.
