By SPORTSMAIL REPORTERPUBLISHED: 10:24 GMT, 3 June 2012 | UPDATED: 12:24 GMT, 3 June 2012
Patrice Evra’s international career has hit rock bottom — after the France star was caught on camera wiping his backside with a team-mate's shirt.
The Manchester United captain, 31, then held it up and sniffed it as he sat on the substitute's bench during a friendly with Serbia.

Smell good, Patrice? Evra takes a whiff of his team-mates shirt
Evra's actions have been slammed on the eve of the Euro 2012 championships.'It was disgusting!
But this gesture shows above all a real lack of respect towards the blue of France and all that it stands for,' said Paris magazine Le 10 Sport.
'We struggle to imagine Evra doing the same with the Manchester United shirt.'
The defender came under fire two years ago as he led a players' strike at the World Cup in South Africa.
Job to do: Evra (left) in training with his France team-mates ahead of Euro 2012
And he may now find his position in the French side under threat as manager Laurent Blanc prepares his men for the opener against England on Monday week.
Le 10 Sport added: 'His popularity has been falling for months, and this unacceptable act will not change the situation at all.'
