Toddler, 2, raped and left for dead beside railway tracks in India

A two-year-old girl was abducted and raped beside a railway track, and left for dead on Saturday.
The child, who cannot be identified, was gagged and taken away from her parents as they slept just yards away further down the line.
She was raped beside the tracks in Delhi, India.
Passersby later found the toddler lying unconscious, naked and bleeding heavily as trains hurtled past just inches away.
It is said she was rushed to hospital and underwent life-saving surgery.
Now the child is believed to be in a stable condition at another hospital in the city.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.

Police continue their investigation.
It comes just days after it emerged a 33-year-old man became the lead suspect in the investigation into the rape of a 16-month-old baby boy.
Simon Porter has now been added to the Tennessee's Top Ten Most Wanted list.
Lieutenant Blake Grooms, of Lawrenceburg Police, said the little boy was hurt "to the point of permanent damage for the rest of his life."
