Vote Swing : 8-11% against PAP.

Opposition : 41-44% of votes.
PAP : 55-59%.

PAP can adjust every GRC to withstand 14% vote swing with 3% buffer in the worse case of 11% vote swing. All except for Aljunied.

Surprises are more likely to come from SMCs.

My prediction is Opposition retain Hougang for sure and Potong Pasir with 70% chance.

Aljunied is likely to go to WP...because it needs only a 6% vote swing.

1 more SMC should go opposition.

Total for opposition 1 GRC, 2-3 SMC.

I pray for 29 Seats for Opposition, 33% will be able to oppose any Policies from PAP.

I say NO to FT importation of another 1.5 Million making Singapore have 6.5 Million?

5 seats at best. Mark my words. If not, I'll chop off clinton666's cock.

My Prediction for this 2011 GE results is = Oppositions WIN MORE THAN 25 Seats ;)

My guess:

WP: Aljunied, Hougang, Joo Chiat (7 seats)
NSP: Mountbatten (1 seat)
PAP: All the rest (79 seats)

Hope you are wrong! I am hoping VW and company emerge victorious, in addition to those you listed. Would be wonderful if CST and team wins too. If GRCs can't make it, let's hope more SMCs fall.

Hope you're right but that's very hard. I voted CST in my ward but don't think he'll win. My relatives voted VW in H-BT but don't think he'll win too. We can only support and vote, but the grounds are such as we see and hear.

If more than 50% think like you and your relatives, MIW would go down the longkang. And that is what is needed.

hahaha...ah forv, can gv some reasons/insights why wks/hen are so strong in B-TPY.....
honestly you look at their fxxk face, u feel like punching them.

I thought you're supposed to supply WP with truckloads of beer tonight at Hougang Stadium.

Hard to tell. My family and relatives, B-TP and H-BT so long of walkovers. Only a few in JC and EC got to vote in recent years. They always voted PAP as a matter of factly. Nice to hear that many of them are now openly and vocally voting opposition.

Aljunied GRC, Chua Chu Kang GRC, Holland-Bt Timah GRC, Hougang SMC, Potong Pasir SMC. :)

My guess:

WP: Aljunied, Hougang, Joo Chiat (7 seats)
NSP: Mountbatten (1 seat)
PAP: All the rest (79 seats)

Yes I think Mountbatten has a good chance. That lawyer in the opposition is quite worthy. Possible.

The above is quite good start for a new beginning. Still the 87-0 nightmare lingers.

It's useless to win 41% of the votes when you only land 5 seats

It will be better to win 20% of the votes and land 20% of the seats

My guess:

WP: Aljunied, Hougang, Joo Chiat (7 seats)
NSP: Mountbatten (1 seat)
PAP: All the rest (79 seats)

Although I am ineligible to vote because I have been a non-resident for almost 3 decades, I would say opposition is likely to win Aljunied, Hougang, Joo Chiat,
and the following will be a close fight: Potong Pasir, Mountbatten, Holland-Bukit Timah, Bishan-Toa Payoh.
I wish the opposition is able to win one or two of the closely fought constituencies.
