World Cup: 17 more CCs to screen matches

SINGAPORE: The People’s Association (PA), with the support of Singapore Pools and SingTel, has announced that it is expanded the pool of Community Clubs (CCs) screening World Cup matches to 57 CCs, up from the current 40.
More than 250,000 people have watched World Cup matches broadcast live at the CCs since the opening match on June 13, the PA said in a statement on Thursday (June 26). The following 17 CCs have been added following "overwhelming response" and "positive feedback" from residents:
Changi Simei CC Clementi CC Hwi Yoh CC Jurong Spring CC Kaki Bukit CC Kampong Chai Chee CC Kim Seng CC Nanyang CC Pek Kio CC Queenstown CC Siglap CC Taman Jurong CC Tampines East CC Tanjong Pagar CC Toa Payoh East CC Ulu Pandan CC Yew Tee CC
The screening schedules are available on www.pa.gov.sg, or residents can contact the CCs directly for the latest match screening schedules, the PA said.
