English Premier League clubs on tour: No little red dot visit?

Looks like all the PL teams on Asian tours are giving Singapore a miss. A bit strange when you consider the popularity of EPL here.
Bangkok, Jakarta and HK seem to be the popular destinations.

And you don't even have a proper stadium. Ask them to play where? In Jalan Besar stadium?
And what happened to the Sports Hub? Still under construction? How many years has it been already?

Chelsea and Man City just had their American postseason friendlies.

kallang stadium is too small and too lau pok for epl teams' asian tour... part of the budget of YOG was supposed to rebuild the kallang stadium but dunno what happened .....

Why not inform them they'll not get to taste all the great char kwey teow and chicken rice if they came to Singapore to play? These will surely entice them to come.

only Man Utd and Liverpool, maybe Arsenal will fill up the National Stadium. i remember Tottenham Hostpur coming to Singapore for a friendly in the 90s. the stadium is half empty. Tottenham even manage to lose to Singapore on penalties...
