More than two million Singaporean age 25 and above can start using their $500 of SkillsFuture Credit from the Government to pay for skills-based classes from 1 Jan 2016.
This is a national movement to get Singaporeans into the spirit of lifelong learning.
SkillsFuture Credit scheme is to allow citizens to take charge of their own learning and choose from the more than 10,000 available courses. Before you are tempted into taking up courses from aggressive marketing by training providers.

- Skills Future Credit has no expiry date and Government will do periodic top-up when appropriate. No need to rush to utilize your SkillsFuture Credit.
- Employer CANNOT ask you to utilize your SkillsFuture Credit to offset fees for training that your company required you to attend.
