The Singapore Elections Department today (Sept 5) announced that the disrespectful PAP flyers pasted at the religion altars are put up by the merchant association, and not by the PAP candidates. Henceforth, the Elections Department found no wrong with the PAP candidates at Holland-Bukit Timah GRC.

The merchant association has also been let off with just a warning. The photo went viral on Facebook with commentators lambasting the PAP team for being insensitive.
