台灣南部今年降雨明顯偏低，加上適逢枯水期，曾文水庫水情拉警報，有效蓄水量只剩11.9%，為5年同期新低。從照片看來，曾文水庫北邊因缺水乾涸成大草原，潭底沉沙龜裂景象讓人心驚。

南區水資源局指出，去年8月至今，降雨約為同期的一半，曾文水庫有效蓄水量從二月的45%一路降到現在的12%，有效蓄水量5427萬立方公尺，從水庫北側看過去潭底竟是一望無際的「龜裂」大草原。

而高雄也好不到哪去，若沒有春雨進帳，也恐將面臨缺水之苦，目前南化水庫有效蓄水率降到38.5%，阿公店水庫29.2%。

台南現靠烏山頭水庫串聯應用，緊繃維持在「水情稍緊」的綠燈，不過烏山頭水庫也只有65.1%，預估撐到5月底，南區水資源局呼籲民眾須節約用水，也希望梅雨能舒緩台南水情。

In southern Taiwan, the rainfall was obviously low this year. Along with the dry season, the water quality of the Zengwen Reservoir was alarmed. Only 11.9% of the effective water storage capacity remained, which was a new low for the same period in five years. From the photographs, the north side of the Zengwen Reservoir was dried up by the lack of water and became a prairie.

The Southern Water Resources Bureau pointed out that since August last year, the rainfall has been about half of the same period, and the effective water storage capacity of the Zengwen Reservoir has dropped from 45% in February to the current 12%, and the effective water storage capacity is 54.27 million cubic meters. Looking from the northern side of the reservoir, the bottom of the lake was actually an endless "crashed" prairie.

Kaohsiung is not much better. If there is no spring rain, it will also face the problem of water shortage. At present, the effective storage rate of Nanhua Reservoir is reduced to 38.5%, and the Agongdian Reservoir is 29.2%.

Tainan is now relying on the Wushantou Reservoir in series to maintain tight “green water” conditions. However, Wushantou Reservoir is only 65.1%. It is estimated that by the end of May, the Southern Water Resources Bureau calls for people to save water. It is hoped that Meiyu will be able to soothe the water in Tainan.
