SMRT better get to the bottom of this. Imo, more dangerous for commuters if it was an inside job. Access is guaranteed. What's next? Sabotage resulting in injuries and loss of lives? Outside vandals are less dangerous when they need to break-in or tresspass first before act done.

Sounds pretty much like a diversion tactic from the TPY PAP incident.

They can orchestra anything they want as they have the necessary resources to do so. No one would challenge them anyway.
Blaming parties is just a going thru the antics of doing their jobs. Ultimately; all retain their jobs and fat salaries. Nothing changes.

I seriously doubt that a vandal can breach into a facility and not get noticed by security cameras and personnel. And literally got away with the act.
