This is probably why all the PAP guys now, like Vivian, Khaw and Mah have rejected the opposition calls for live debates.

This video was taken from the 1980s. JBJ and Mr Chiam were absolutely grilling Goh Chok Tong and Lee Hsien Loong. You can see from their body language how helpless they were. JBJ and Mr Chiam made them look foolish.
