The couple later made a police report at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah Police Station.

Altercation

According to Sing, the couple was caught in a congested road.

There was a car in front of them that was apparently driving haltingly and stopping repeatedly.

Many vehicles were honking at the car, including the couple, the post read.

In a police report, the couple said they had noticed a Toyota Altis behind them that was constantly honking at them.

Soon after, however, the Singapore-registered car then drove up to their side, and the driver apparently berated them and asked them why they had not moved forward.

According to Sing, her boyfriend then explained to the driver of the Singapore car that there was another car in front of them.

Sing claimed that the driver next replied: "Don't think you're so great just cause you drive a BMW".

Sing said that the driver exited his car to confront her boyfriend, and used his body to hit him, as well as spit on him.

A video taken by a passerby that was shared in the comments section of Sing's post showed the confrontation between the two men:

Sing noted that her boyfriend did not lay hands on the other man as they were wary of other commuters filming the exchange, and he did not want to add fuel to fire.

Sing added that her boyfriend later told the driver that they could go to the police station together to "settle" their conflict.

The driver of the Singapore car then flew into a rage and started kicking their car, causing a dent.

The driver reportedly said, "Go police then go, not afraid of you ah."

He then apparently drove around a corner and left.

Sing also included in her post a picture of what appears to be a police report.

As of the time of writing, Sing's post has garnered around 2,800 shares.

The case was brought to public attention by Facebook user Vicky Sing, who shared videos and photos of the incident.

She reported that her boyfriend, who was driving their BMW at the time, was confronted by the driver of a Singapore-registered Toyota Altis, who allegedly kicked their car and verbally harassed them in traffic.

Incident during traffic congestion

Sing said they were caught in a traffic jam when the Toyota Altis began honking at them aggressively.

The driver then pulled up beside their car and confronted them, accusing them of not moving forward.

Despite being told there was a vehicle ahead of them, the man allegedly responded rudely and made derogatory remarks about the car they were driving.

The situation escalated when the man exited his car and, according to the couple, body-checked and spat at Sing’s boyfriend before kicking the car, causing a visible dent.

A video of the confrontation taken by a passerby was also shared online and widely circulated.

The couple lodged a police report at the Taman Ungku Tun Aminah Police Station shortly after the incident.

Suspect arrested within 24 hours

According to ACP Balveer Singh A/L Mahindar Singh, officers from the Johor Bahru Utara District Police Headquarters (IPD JBU) arrested the 40-year-old suspect in the Johor Bahru area around 6:20 p.m. on June 8.

Several items were seized during the operation.

The suspect was confirmed to have no prior criminal record, and his urine test returned negative for drugs.

China Press reported that he was brought to the Johor Bahru Court on Jun. 9 for the remand application process.

Case investigated under two charges

The case is being investigated under two sections of the Penal Code:

  • Section 426 for committing mischief, which carries a punishment of up to three months’ imprisonment, a fine, or both.
  • Section 509 for using words or gestures intended to insult another person’s modesty, which can result in up to five years’ imprisonment, a fine, or both.
Police are urging the public to refrain from escalating road situations and to report any criminal behaviour to Johor Bahru Utara IPD at 07-5563122.

Wait a minute, just to be clear, the sinkie loser is the one driving a low ses car and the Malaysian is the one driving the BMW.

The low ses sinkie car driver come out and kick the BMW car that is belonged to a Malaysian.

Correct?

Have the Sinkie ask himself why he don't have the chance to drive a BMW?

You can tell the character of the person by the way he behave and act.

I love it when Malaysians do much better than sinkie in life..still being ball-less and stupid,ur life will be getting worse than before. Malaysians have balls and they deserve the prosperous life.

Any S'porean driving a Toyota Altis would be envious of another man behind the wheel of a BMW. That goes without saying. I hope that the culprit is rotting in a JB lock-up for a long time so he gets to cool down. LOL!

The culprit will be remanded for 4 days in a JB police station. It may be enough for him to lose his job, or if he is a PHV driver, result in loss of earnings as he has to foot the 4 days of rental w/o any income. It serves him right!

PHV fuckers can die and the world will be a better place

During my last trip to KL, I stopped by a petrol station in JB to fill up, and encountered a low SES SG family. The husband was seated inside his Honda Vezel PHV that occupied a pump while his wife and son were stuffing their faces with keropok outside the car. They didn't care that there was a queue of SG cars waiting behind even though he had already filled up his PHV.

Coolie gene Sinkies are a disgrace to the cuntry. They should be banned from traveling.
Having taken tours before from S'pore to Asia, Europe and North America, I find Sinkies love to lord it over service staff and vendors in Third World countries, but are meek when dealing with Caucasians.

Hahaha, just saw a vid. this unkle did the same thing in Oct 23. good luck to him

Trashy low SES sinkies really have no idea what they are up against in JB. That BMW driver could be a gang member, and arrange for his men to give this sinkie lowlife a good beating once he comes out of prison.
