When you buy home insurance, do you buy only the internal fixtures and fittings ?

I would think the condo itself has an insurance policy that will cover any damage to the concrete structure.

if concrete structure is cumpromised (basically irrepairable and condemned) no point paying more to insure it. may as well quickly sell and buy another with zero structural defects.
