SINGAPORE - Two Workers' Party Members of Parliament made their maiden speeches in the House yesterday, only to see their arguments met with robust rebuttals by People's Action Party (PAP) MPs.

One protracted exchange was between WP Non-Constituency MP Gerald Giam and PAP MP Christopher De Souza (Holland-Bukit Timah GRC), with WP chief Low Thia Khiang (Aljunied GRC) joining the fray to seek clarification. Another involved WP's Chen Show Mao (Aljunied GRC), who was taken to task by PAP's Dr Teo Ho Pin (Bukit Panjang) for the lack of specifics in the Opposition MP's speech.

Devil is in the detail! If you can nitpicked on the details of the speech, then there will be no need to do what you are really paid to do and you will be patted by your master's soft hand! These PAP dogs are just nothing but dogs fed by your tax money, just let them know so! Total elimination of these creed is still the only solution!

Then again, if there were no ministars, there would be no por lampar lap dog new mps defending pap policies either.

in our parleement, paps only wanna hear the good stuff. parleement is another 90.5FM GOLD: hear the good stuffs; the real stuffs from the peasants are deaf or almost inaudible.

new freshie mps are just dying to perform and whoring for attention so that they could be slated to higher rung of pap's sick bureaucracy ladder.

The jobs of rabid dogs like Teo Ho Pin in Parliament is to cover the backsides of heavy weight PAP Ministars each time the Opposition grilled them on f*cked up Govt Policies....

Thats why these mad dogs will be aggressive each time their Masters are being challenged...

Good point. The ministers should be responding to the opposition MPs and the PAP backbench MPs should be questioning the ministers too. One disgustingly misleading phrase the media like to use on opposition is "taken to task." What task, what's wrong, what's been proven wrong, may I ask them to show.

Up your points.
