SINGAPORE: The Workers' Party, which held its first Central Executive Council meeting on Tuesday, has listed its office bearers for the term 2012 to 2014.

The list includes four new appointments.

The office bearers are:

Chairman: Sylvia Lim Swee Lian
Vice-Chairman: Mohammed Rahizan bin Yaacob
Secretary-General: Low Thia Khiang
Organising Secretary: Ng Swee Bee
Treasurer: Yee Jenn Jong
Deputy Treasurer: Frieda Chan Sio Phing (new appointment)
Chair, WP Media Team: Gerald Giam Yean Song
Vice-Chair, WP Media Team: Jane Leong (new appointment)
Webmaster: Koh Choong Yong
Deputy Webmaster: Lee Li Lian (new appointment)
President, WP Youth Wing: Muhamad Faisal bin Abdul Manap (new appointment)
Council Members: Chen Show Mao, Glenda Han Su May, Png Eng Huat, Pritam Singh

I hope they will not be Chiak Liau Bee......like Tony Tan.....

Note that Pritam Singh was demoted to be an ordinary councill member.

Was his overbearing demeanor a reason why he was removed from the post of second media chief?

WP of Aljuined has to reflect the reason voters brought them in, and all because voters want a change from the PAP. So the WP has to be humble and be seen in their respective blocks. Friends tell me they have not seen WP team in their walkabout before, during and after election. There must be positive changes from WP. After all, WP team are the servants of the voters.
