fren recently also went to ttsh again and this time again met another non-specialist doctor, that's why if you are referred by polyclinic subsidized patient they only give you general doctor buy you still pay specialist fee very funny loh. hospital isn't cheating in this way? anyway come back here fren then met this indian doctor really a foreigner from india from a quick check. this dr jikku haniball looks like a orthopaedic specialist but in here cannot practice as specialist because not recognized unles he willing go through another 5 years so we suspect he did not want to so stay in hospital to be resident physician and because he has experience in india in orthopaedic so ttsh pushed him to treat subsidized patient in orthopaedic centre. fren said he like don't dare like others know he from india so never speak much buy keep saying ya ya ya ok ok ok only like a motuh tak lan and poor communication again, keep saying ok but should ask patient take seat outside wait for nurse pass the paper and bills mah. ok, ok what ok ji ki lan ah puah ji bye kanrsai.

go smc and type in haniball jikku and you will see he is not a specialist at all.
ok now let me clarify all different specialist designations in hospital:
if you are subsidized patient most likely like my fren wont get to see consultant aka specialist and not even registrar aka trainee registrar but some general doctor unless you pay as private patient but if can afford private fee should go private hospital loh
a doctor who is studying to be specialist his/she designation is registrar you can see outside the door. To professors/lecturers or in test/exam papers, application papers and other documents, they are referred to as resident first and study and see patient in specialist clinic for 5 years then gradually promote to senior resident/fellowship but in these 5 years their title is registrar. make things simpler, if you see registrar means he/she still training to be specialist and if you see consultant means he/she already got licensed to be specialist. and if you do not see any designation or see principal or senior resident physician or resident physician title outside room means they are not specialists or foreign doctors not qualify to be specialist. they worked in hospital and never take the family physician medicine postgraduate course and venture out open own clinic so stuck in hospital working and kena post to different specialist clinic help out only. that's why al their disgnosis must go through another consultant an consultant approve and put his/her name down then can pass to patient papers. no wonder don't dare to let patient see they send email ask approval. below are details
