Chinese teacher will force orang asli children to use mandarin names and speak in mandarin like in taiwan and on the side, earn a commission in getting loggers to cut down all the timber in orang asli land, chase them away and plant palm oil after its all done.

A indian teacher will do as below. That's why south east asia is influenced by indians not Chinese.

OVER the past few weeks, we have been inundated with bad news that progressively got worse as the days wore on.
Our Covid-19 numbers had doubled, more and more clusters were being found, areas turning red each day, and lives lost.

It seemed everyone in Malaysia must have been within those famed six degrees of separation from someone who had passed on due to the coronavirus.
The news of English teacher Samuel Isaiah being named among the top 10 finalists for the 2020 Global Teacher Prize is a welcome respite from all the doom and gloom that had been weighing down our news feeds.

The award comes with a monetary reward of US$1 million (RM4.16 million) and that is surely a blessing. But, that is not the most important thing.
Isaiah was picked from among 12,000 teachers worldwide to join nine other people who are in the running for the award. That, to put it simply, is no small thing.
The award is organised by the London-based Varkey Foundation, a global charitable body focused on improving the standards of education for underprivileged children, together with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco).
Anyone being considered for the award would be a person who has done wonderful things for underprivileged children — to see to it that they are given an education they may not normally have a chance of getting.
And, that is exactly what Isaiah has been doing. He teaches Orang Asli students at SK Runchang in Muadzam Shah, travelling 200km to and from school, deep in the rainforests of Pahang each day.
Isaiah also provided laptop computers and tablets to his students through a national crowdfunding campaign.
Most important of all, he inspires his students through his dedication and hard work, and in so doing, managed to raise the school's average pass rate in English from 30 per cent to 85 per cent. Isaiah's story is a simple one, but, inspirational.
It shows that Malaysians can do anything they want and excel in any field. All it takes is dedication, motivation, proactive thinking, perseverance and, in many cases, some creativity. Too often, when faced with any sort of difficulty, even one that is insignificant, we shy away from the challenge, or worse still, give up altogether.
How many of us have faced difficulties like Isaiah, travelling 200km to teach Orang Asli children?
How many of us curse and swear at our journey to work that may take a mere hour or so?
That Isaiah is a top 10 finalist in the Global Teacher Prize is, in itself, a recognition of his hard work and dedication.
We should all be inspired to follow his lead, no matter our chosen field. Malaysia can produce people who excel in their fields.
But it is not its government, its rulers or its administrators who determine that.
It is us, the people, the individuals. Isaiah will know whether he is the top global teacher on Dec 3, when the results are announced at the Natural History Museum in London.
We wish him the best of luck. Win or lose, though, the nation is proud of him.
