With the benefit of hindsight, did the Ferrari accident help the WP to win Hougang?

Here's how one can read it:


1. PM and DPM delayed making their "gratuitous" comments on FB, only after Chinese Embassy made its. Imply it fails in delivering an acceptable report card to the voters.


2. It's a rich vs poor divide, that voters can identify, with anger and angst at the ballot box.


3. Ma Chi's family delayed apologizing, similar to PAP not apologizing for its mistakes.


4. It's a traffic accident, so voters can draw some co-relation to train delays, bus accidents, incompetent LTA, SMRT, whatever. More anger and disgust.


5. Main Stream Media Tessa Wong, etc, blatantly biased towards the Ferrari driver, similar to MSM bootlicking of PAP in Hougang. Similar to character assassination and integrity attack on Opposition candidates, like JBJ, CST, CSJ, PEH


6. FT issue, core to the anger of voters. Ma Chi is PRC, hence, more anger of voters.


7. Only Comfort and Citicab taxis have no air bags. Hence, it implies GLC/TLC saying "you die, your own business". Hougang no lift upgrading, even though it's HDB's design flaw, yet used as political leverage. Undemocratic tactic by PAP.


8. Ma Chi buying penthouse even though he's a foreigner, not even a PR. Imply that foreigners/PR are jacking up the property prices at expense of local's affordability.


9. Ma Chi and family, as finance investor, contributes ZERO to the economy but laundering money into the pockets of the "private" equity fund companies, that siphons off money offshore, hence it's NOT foreign direct investments. Also, because his family's presence does not increase employment, productivity, but instead, vie for local infrastructure, municipal and leisure resources, increase the rich-poor divide and contributes to inflation, by virtue of the family's buying power. Make voters more angry and determined to send a clear signal to PAP in the Hougang by-election.


10. Raffles Hospital, known to have accident and emergency trauma facilities and capabilities, did not take in the accident injured, because of SCDF's stupid rigid rules, and later coming forward to say it made the right decision, could have angers those who felt that saving lives are more important than exclusivity and higher costs and victims' affordability and VIP status/non-status. Implies to the voters that PAP adopts the "you die your own business" approach, even for life-and-death situations.


11. Nincompoops rodliao and QueerXP are PAP moles engaged to infiltrate 3in1 disguising as FAKE Opposition supporters for a plate of bee hoon/chicken rice/meesiam-maihum, but exposed easily by the intelligent celestial DRAGON. (Their antics in 3in1 are henceforth EPIC FAIL, FINITO, ZILT, ZAPULT, OWNED, PWNED)
