Dear Hsien Loong,

As we celebrate National Day, it is a time to show our patriotism towards our country and bring together a nation. However your big trumpeting of Singapore’s success because you and your team is in charge really makes many people in Singapore want to puke hence losing the true celebrating spirit.

Your claim of our country is doing fine and you got everything under control is a load of humbug. You miss the point.

1) In comparison to the unsettled world, Singaporean are equally unsettled and unsure of their future.

2) When the economy grew, Singaporean is worse off with their wages stagnant or depressed. PMET are losing their jobs to foreigners.

3) What is the point of a successful Singapore when Singaporeans are failing. Only foreigners can feel the success when they remit money back home.

4) Our Young feels shortchanged and cheated. Their aspiration is no longer to see Singapore grow but to wait for 2016 to send you and your clueless team to Timbuktu.

5) It is really hard to believe we can ever have a fair and just society under your administration when you decide what is fair and just.

Due to restriction of space…. I will stop here and leave others to comment further. I am a little confused whether our national day is a happy one or a sad one.
Regards,
.
