Dead body found in Kallang River

Officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force recovered a body of a woman in her 60s from the Kallang River this morning.
The SCDF, which deployed an ambulance and a fire engine to the scene, received a call about the case at around 9am.
Two of its officers entered the water to recover the body by using a lifebuoy and a rope.
Police are investigating.
