David Beckham plays Beethoven classic by firing footballs at drums in this Samsung Galaxy Note's
advertisement for the London Olympics.
The 37-year-old, who is hoping to be a part of Team GB for the Games this summer, used his seemingly
never-ending talent to play Beethoven’s classic Ode To Joy using a host of footballs and a wall of drums for
the latest Samsung advert.
Although the clip is heavily edited, you can’t help but feel a sense of national pride while watching Becks kick,
flick and shoulder the balls with his usual accuracy off the 15-foot musical contraption.
Filming of Beckham playing Beethoven’s masterpiece apparently took just two hours, while Lars Bastholm, who
helped to create the video, added: ‘When you’re working with Olympics advertising, you have to make something
that’s entertaining and watchable.’
