can't help but notice that there had been several theft cases around condo projects, saw one notice at SilverSea, one more around the old Amber Gardens, then another at The Sound. read the notice and it stated theft of metal. aren't there security to look after these premises? if these weren't enough, one of the crime notice even stated theft of vehicle just behind Tampines Safra.

me understand the need for the community to work together to apprehend these thieves and bring them to justice. my question is: how effective are these crime notice boards? if they aren't, the perpetrators would just be amused by these crime notices :eek::eek:

I just drove past The Sound condo 2 weeks ago on my way to Joo Chiat.. There was this big Police notice board stating that some stuff had been stolen from the site.. Then last week while driving to Siglap, I saw a police car parked at the entrance of the construction site.. No officers sighted but I guess that, the police purposely placed the car there to deter would be thieves from entering the site upon seeing the patrol car..

If you guys have noticed, around HDB blocks also have them, everyday still got so many crime, is it effective?

Same, same around my neighbourhood. After about 2 or 3 times I did notice a CISCO marked vehicle around the neighbourhood. I think someone must have called in CISCO:confused: The CISCO guy might be skiving but I often see his car parked at the same spot, so maybe he's watching the neighbourhood:confused:
