A man in his 20s has learnt a costly lesson in leaving his kitchen window unsecured before going to bed.
He had woken up yesterday morning to discover more than $3,000 worth of items missing from his home along Sixth Avenue.
Items stolen include two phones, two pens, an $800 briefcase, an MP3 player, a wallet containing cash and other personal documents.
Police are also investigating a robbery that happened on Sunday afternoon.
A Chinese man in his late 20s was robbed of $2,000 by two dark-complexioned men at the void deck of Blk 204 Bedok North Street 1.
The victim sustained a slight cut on his right arm in the struggle that ensued.
One suspect is 1.8 metres tall and medium-built, has short curly hair and is believed to be in his 30s.
The other is in his 20s, has shoulder-length hair, and also medium-built.
Both were last seen wearing black t-shirts, blue jeans, and sunglasses.
One of the suspects was also wearing black shoes.
