前總統陳水扁今（5）下午赴台北市長官邸藝文沙龍，出席其新書《堅持–口述歷史回憶錄》發表會，台北市長柯文哲也一同對談，在致詞一開始時更一度哽咽。陳水扁在之後的對談中表示，今天就是要講書中沒有的，除了頻頻「調侃」柯文哲，一開始更藉機喊冤，自己的手抖當然是真的，也批評部分媒體在其搭上高鐵北上時就不斷跟拍。

陳水扁一開始即表示，「我沒有上台喔，我是坐在台下喔」，現場以如雷掌聲回應。他接著說，要拜託他的主治醫師做見證，今天有這麼多媒體到現場，「重點絕對不是要看阿扁說甚麼，是要看我的手有沒有抖，在場很多醫師，我相信要檢查手會不會抖，要伸直懸空這樣最準，不是叫我拿東西，這是真的手抖症、類帕金森氏症，我手真的抖，不是在數鈔票」。

陳水扁還說，「到底是怎樣，只有醫生知道，所有診斷證明都是這樣寫，為甚麼還是很多人說是假的， 一分鐘六點六次，阿扁從高雄來到台北到處這樣拍，這樣對嗎？我這個病人，我昨晚也睡不好，我希望休息你還拍，拜託媒體體諒，我做到總統還要這樣給你們看手，台灣社會多悲哀」。

前總統陳水扁今天從高雄北上出席首部口述歷史回憶錄新書發表會，座談會開始，他馬上平舉自己右手，怒稱「讓你們拍看是真是假」指自己的手抖症狀經過各醫師診斷。

「堅持—陳水扁口述歷史回憶錄」下午在市長官邸藝文沙龍表演廳舉行舉行新書發表會，柯文哲、陳水扁與中研院近代史研究所副研究員陳儀深進行小型座談，而前考選部長林嘉誠、前總統府秘書長陳唐山、前民進黨立委藍美津、民進黨立委柯建銘皆出席。
陳水扁甫開口，先說自己沒有上台，是坐在台上，全場響起一片掌聲。
隨後，陳水扁勃然大怒地表示，到場的媒體不是要聽陳水扁說什麼，而是關心他的手抖症狀到底是不是假裝的，「裝也裝不了！」，他說，在場包括柯文哲在內具備醫療專業，要判斷患者的神經運作情形，一定會叫患者把手伸直、懸空，而不是手拿東西，或放在膝蓋上。
陳水扁說，他的手抖症狀是後遺症，每個醫師的診斷都一樣，「讓你們都有拍到，看是真是假！」表示台北榮總本也抱持懷疑態度，派了多名醫師進行檢查，得到的診斷也是一樣。
他說，他從高雄搭高鐵北上，有媒體全程跟拍，就是要拍他的手有沒有抖，「這樣對嗎？」表示「拜託媒體朋友體諒一下，當到總統還要舉手給你們看，台灣社會多悲哀」。
