These people, seen leaving a supermarket, live in the expensive Balmoral district and yet refuse to take a taxi home, says STOMPer Angelia, who feels they should not have taken the trolleys home.

According to the sender, the two men were speaking in a thick Chinese accent and were apparently Chinese nationals.

In an email, Angelia says:

"Earlier on, while waiting to cross the road towards Chancery Lane, I saw these two guys happily pushing away three (fully loaded) trolleys, which belong to Cold Storage (Chancery Court).

"They spoke in heavily accented Mandarin.

"Shouldn't they have taken a taxi instead of taking the trolleys home?

"They were heading towards Balmoral Road, a prime district.

"What a disgrace! I have called and alerted Cold Storage about the incident."

Singaporeans are becoming such an inconsiderate bunch, says STOMPer Whosayso, after spotting this abandoned trolley at Pasir Ris Park.

This is not the first time a supermarket trolley has been taken out of the shop's premises and abandoned in a public area.

The culprits of such inconsiderate acts don't seem to care about the $1 deposit they had to pay when renting the trolley.

Such behaviour might result in an end to the free trolley-loaning system at supermarkets, says the sender.

In an email, Whosayso says:

"Despite much publication of the misuse of trolleys, we see yet another trolley being abandoned in the bushes at Pasir Ris Park.

"I guess this is what most typical Singaporeans are good at these days. They casually dispose trolleys in void decks, bus stops, child care centres and now in the park too.

"Is this ethical?

"Singaporeans should really reflect on their behaviour and attitude rather than just complaining about fines being imposed on them.

"Well, I am not surprised if we will need to pay a higher rental fee to use these trolleys in future since a dollar is insignificant to those inconsiderate shoppers."
