Expired drinks sold in supermarket -- Cold Storage, please step up checks

These canned drinks, which expired a few days ago, are still being sold at a Cold Storage outlet, says STOMPer Jackson.

The STOMPer feels that supermarkets should check their goods regularly to ensure that expired products are not left on shelves for sale.

Jackson says:

"I am very disappointed that a well-established supermarket like Cold Storage is selling expired goods.

"I found these canned drinks which expired a few days ago on the shelves.

"Hope that they will tighten up the procedures and check the expiry dates of their goods regularly."

It means that is an unpopular drink!

Most new stock have expiry dates 2011, 2012 etc.

To have a stock with expiry date 2010 means the stock did not sell.
