Judge orders 'crooked' cockatoo to fly for him
A judge in Austria has made a cockatoo fly in front him in order to determine whether or not its flight is lopsided.

A cockatoo: potentially wonky
The cockatoo's Danish owner says that the bird is unable to fly properly because of chronic gout, and is demanding back the €12,000 (around £9.960) he paid an Austrian seller for it. 'When the cockatoo flies around all crooked, it's worthless,' the owner said, according to the Austria Press Agency (APA).
The judge ordered a demonstration of the cockatoo in flight to help determine if it was worth the money. The cockatoo took its test flight in a hall in front of the judge and a vet, APA reported. A report on the bird's health is expected in three to four months.
