There are different versions of CNA being aired. Which version depends on where you are watching from. In Spore & Batam you get the Spore propaganda. From Thailand you get the Malaysian version which is mostly about financial news.

I got the Channel News Asia headline from its print edition on 29 Jul 2016 at 11.20am. It shows how bad CNA is. A national english media which cant even get its spelling correct

CNA is probably funded by the Ah Tiong government as well. On the territorial dispute in the South China Sea, CNA has been promoting Chinese position. Lots of Ah Tiong 'experts' brought out to defend China's position.
