A lorry driver has had a lucky escape after crashing into US petrol station, narrowly
missing other motorists.
The truck was coming off highway I-77 in Akron, Ohio, when it went through an
intersection before being caught on CCTV smashing into a pole and flipping onto
its side.
Employees and customers at the fuel station pulled out a woman - thought to be
the driver - and a man from the cabin of the truck. They were not seriously injured.
Just minutes earlier a car had been filling up at the same pump hit by the truck.
The driver of the truck told officers that the brakes had stopped working in the lorry.
According to bystanders, everyone else present at the petrol station walked away
unhurt.
