Sinaporans know all civil servants whether in the armed forces or civil service are prohibited from participating in politics and political activities. Even going for a walk around with a pappy political figure can be construed as participation in political activities.

If this news report is correct, then ex-BG Gan was a civil servant in service when she took part with Hen in his walk about to gain exposure in the coming GE, which is really a "Get To Know" campaign in preparation for the ex-commander to become a pappy MP.

It was reported that former Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Brigadier General Gan Siow Huang was seen walking alongside Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen with other Members of the Parliament (MPs) from the Bishan-Toa Payoh Group Representation Constituency (GRC) at a walkabout in Bishan North Shopping Mall recently (‘Recently-resigned RSAF General Gan Siow Huang likely a PAP candidate in Bishan-Toa Payoh in coming GE‘). BG (NS) Gan resigned as the Chief of Staff-Air Staff earlier last week and this has fueled speculation that she may be nominated as a candidate of the People’s Action Party (PAP) in the upcoming General Election (GE). It has been reported that for the past several months, BG (NS) Gan has been seen engaging in grassroots activities in Bishan North.

Prior to resigning "earlier last week", she had been "for the past several months engaging in grassroots activities", which in political lingo, is
political activities.

Shouldn't she be charged for her misconduct and dismissed from RSAF instead of allowing to resign like a hero to fight for sinaporans as a pappy?

One rule for P

One rule for PAP and another for the rest.
