臉書(Facebook)與Instagram(IG)台灣時間今(20日)晚間傳出全球大當機的慘劇！重災區包括美國東岸、歐洲以及台灣等地，使用者先是會覺得使用反應速度遲緩、無法留言或PO文等，接著就會出現個人頁面無法載入的狀況，目前尚無法確認臉書與IG的當機是否有關連。

除了無法載入個人頁面瀏覽朋友動態外，也有不少網友反映遭到自動登出、私訊無法順利傳送等問題！

臉書昨(19日)才傳出執行長祖克伯認為「公司螺絲鬆了」，改採取積極、強勢的管理風格，因此逼走多位高層，更使得股價跌逾5%，創下2017年2月以來新低，沒想到今天又發生全球性的大當機事件，雖然兩者目前應沒有直接關聯，但想必會讓祖克伯更為頭大。

Facebook says Monday's outage was the result of a 'routine test'

Did Facebook go down for you Monday? You were not alone.
The most popular social network went down early Monday afternoon, showing users who tried to access its site broken error messages saying "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can."
The outage knocked out Facebook's main website for some users and made using Facebook Messenger difficult. Instagram and WhatsApp, two of Facebook's other major social platforms, both seemed to be fine though some users reported encountering issues.
After going offline for around a half hour the social network appeared to be working again around 1:30 p.m. ET.
In a statement provided to USA TODAY, a Facebook spokesperson said the outage was the result of a "routine test."
"Earlier today, a routine test caused users to have trouble accessing or posting to all Facebook services including WhatsApp and Instagram. We quickly investigated and restored access for everyone. We’re sorry for the inconvenience."
The company did not elaborate when asked if the test was planned or if the outage was the result of an issue with the test.
As has become common with recent internet outages, users quickly rushed to Twitter with #FacebookDown rising among the site's U.S. and worldwide trending topics.


Some sent Facebook "thoughts and prayers."



For others, well, the outage was a sign to get back to work.

It's not just you: Facebook is officially down.
The social media website is suffering a worldwide outage, according to a global map.
Every aspect of the site seems to be affected, from newsfeeds freezing to app glitches to posts not showing up.

The map indicates the problem is worst in the United States and in India - although perhaps it means those populations are just more likely to complain about it.
The disaster has prompted many to take to Twitter to complain about it and the memes have already started rolling in, from the classic 'Distracted Boyfriend' template to more gif-based formats.







But it's not all bad news: Instagram, despite being owned by Facebook, seems to be working fine.

In a brief moment of darkness, Facebook's Messenger app was down on Tuesday morning.
After attempting to send a message, an error message appeared saying "Sending failed. The operation couldn't be completed."
The outage was fixed within about 20 minutes, but not before scores of people took to Twitter in panic.









It isn't the first time Facebook has been down recently, with another worldwide outage affecting the whole site on Sunday.
While only the Messenger app appeared to falter on Tuesday, Sunday's outage affected most aspects of the site, with newsfeeds freezing, and parts of the app glitching.
Global map, which tracks outages across the world, indicated that Sunday's outage was worst in the United States and in India.
The app is used by more than 1 billion people worldwide.
Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, appeared to be unaffected by Tuesday's outage.

Facebook’s messaging app has crashed around the world.
Frustrated Messenger users from the US to the UK have reported that they are unable to access the service this afternoon.
Facebook's main site also appears to be affected by the outage, though not as severely as the standalone chat app.
It comes just days after Facebook suffered a 'total blackout' that affected the social media site and its other platforms, including WhatsApp and Instagram.

Messenger users in Europe were hit hardest by the outage, though issues were also reported along the US West Coast
Most users (49 percent) reported they were unable to connect to the server on Monday afternoon.
Many also indicated that they were having trouble receiving messages (28 percent), while others said they could not log in at all (22 percent).
The app appears to have crashed shortly after 3 p.m. (ET), with thousands of reports streaming in before 3:30.
Messenger users in Europe were worst affected by the issue Monday afternoon, with a majority of reports coming from the UK, Ireland, Poland, Belgium, and Denmark.

Users in the United States were hit by the outage as well, with most of the issues here popping up along the West Coast.
Just last week, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram users around the world were left in a 'total blackout' for nearly an hour after the site crashed early on Nov 12.
Those who attempted to access the desktop site were met with a message saying 'Sorry, something went wrong,' while mobile users were unable to refresh the News Feed.

As usual, many turned to other social media platforms to share memes and express their gripes about the issues.
A widespread issue hit also hit Facebook in July, with Android users in some parts of the world unable to access the social network for up to ten hours.
It was believed to be an issue with an update that caused the problem.
