STOMPer Worried wonders how this driver managed to pass through the road block for the NDP rehearsal near Esplanade Drive on July 31. Many contingents marched past this stationary car and were shocked to see it parked there, she says.

The STOMPer wrote:

"This happened on the NDP rehearsal on July 31.

"Despite the road block, this car managed to stop right where we were at Esplanade Drive, near Merlion Park .

"The Traffic Police (TP) were surprised to see this car too. One of them went over and told the driver that they can’t pass through as some NDP contingents were already in front.

"The female driver, in her 20s, then left the car with her male friend.

"Many contingents marched past this stationary car and were shocked to see it parked there.

"A TP approached the car but the driver wasn't there.

"Finally, the driver and her friend 'appeared' and a TP escorted the driver to drive in the direction of Collyer Quay.

"I’m wondering how this car passed through the road block. The driver wasn’t even booked by the TP for parking at the roadside for so long.

"We are constantly being reminded of the terrorist threat. Wouldn’t this driver-less car, which was parked at the roadside for so long, be a possible terrorist threat?

"How many people would it have killed if it were loaded with bombs?

"It was an NDP rehearsal where there were many marching contingents and spectators watching by the road so, shouldn’t the policemen be more vigilant??

"Also, shouldn’t the TP have guided the car to leave in the opposite traffic direction to Fullerton Road straightaway when it first arrived?"

Sorry hor. Terrorists where got so much $$ to buy a Mercedes SLK to put bombs in?

The only bomb they see is the two big ones in front of that lady. Maybe a B-cup?

She's a member, hence she gets VIP parking!

Have you joined their country club?

they dun have money to buy, but they can steal a SLK to complete their mission right

The financial interests of the bin Laden family are represented by the Saudi Binladin Group, a global construction and equity management conglomerate grossing $5 billion U.S. dollars annually, and one of the largest construction firms in the Islamic world, with offices in London and Geneva. According to an American diplomat, the bin Laden family owns part of Microsoft and Boeing among other companies.[1]
