The " Ghost city" In JB was sabotaged by Najib and umno who feared millions of new Chinese will be settling into the country.
There are several other China development that were abandoned during Najib era but never mentioned in the press. They are currently being revived and possibly rebuilt with policies discouraging foreign buyers enacted by Najib being dismantled.
