吴谦：世界上只有一个中国，大陆和台湾同属一个中国。中华人民共和国是中国的唯一合法政府，中国的主权和领土完整不容分割。这是我回答你这个问题的前提和基础。
我们注意到美方最近在台湾问题上搞了一系列动作，无论是售台武器，还是军事联系，我们都坚决反对。台湾问题是中国的内政，事关中国核心利益和中国人民民族感情，不容任何外来干涉。一个中国原则是公认的国际关系准则，也是中美关系的政治基础。任何破坏一个中国原则的言论和行为，都无异于在动摇中美关系的根基，都不符合中美两国的根本利益，也是非常危险的。
我们还注意到岛内一些人的分裂谬论，对此我想强调：统一是历史大势，是正道。“台独”是历史逆流，是绝路。一个中国原则是两岸关系的政治基础。台湾前途在于国家统一，台胞福祉系于民族复兴。煽动两岸对抗、妄图挟洋自重的人和势力不明大义、不得人心！
祖国必须统一，也必然统一。我们愿意以最大诚意、尽最大努力争取和平统一的前景，但针对外部势力干涉和“台独”分裂分子活动，我们将采取一切必要措施，坚定捍卫国家主权和领土完整，坚定维护台海地区和平稳定。
