A man who was allegedly caught cheating on his wife escaped from a hotel window in China and hung on its signboard wearing only a pair of bright-coloured underwear.

Sin Chew Daily reported that the incident, which occurred in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, left people stunned as they watched his bizarre escape from the high-rise building.

According to setn.com, the man scaled the exterior wall until he reached the sign.

He then hung from a sign with the Chinese characters "Boyu".
