[h=1]China cheat Yang Yin ran out of money for legal funds[/h]admin / 2 days ago September 24, 2015
Infamous China cheat Yang Yin has ran out of money to pay his lawyers and is looking forward to liquidating life insurance policies worth S$98,000. However, the Corrupt Practice Investigation Bureau (CPIB) blocked his access to the fund by telling the insurance companies not to release the money to him despite having the Singapore High Court allowing so in April this year.
The elderly victim’s niece, Hedy Mok, who is acting on behalf for her auntie, filed an appeal to the High Court demanding Yang Yin to have no access to the funds as the insurance policies were bought using the victim’s money despite having the policies registered under his name.

Earlier in September, the State Court also ruled that Yang Yin shall have no access to the policies. This resulted in Yang Yin telling the court that he will have no money to hire a defence lawyer if he does not have access to the insurance policies fund.
Yang Yin’s permanent residency was also revoked after immigration authority ICA found that the 41 year old PRC man falsified documents and qualifications to apply for Singapore’s PR. His bank account has been frozen in August 2014 but his wife and parents have successfully left Singapore for China with an undisclosed sum believed to be stolen from the elderly victim who suffers from dementia.
