Changes i hope that would be implemented in sg IF the oppo wins.

Firstly cut down or in fact abolish NS get a pte army or get females to serve.

2ndly cut down on sg's population to below 4 million.

3rdly abolish woman's charter or rather amend it so that women don't have the chance to use it to abuse men.

4th reinstate the jury back into the judicial court rather than just the judge solely making judgments.

5th cut down on public transport, housing, living costs

6th allow workers to form unions to take care of their own interests to prevent MNCS from exploiting them.

7th allow proper checks and balances so that no political party in sg can be the dominating party

8th president has to do duty to make sure all finances and accounts of the state are accounted for.

9th civil services and media in sg should be independent and not the lapdog of any political party. The police for eg should serve the ppl, the media should report fairly and not be bias.

10th Everyone's favourite, cut down on minister's salaries. For a small country like sg the head of state should be paid less than the president of the US for eg. In fact the cabinet should be shrunk. I think there are around 84 ministers for such a small country like sg. The civil service is obviously bloated and too many deadwoods are employed without any useful contributions but leeching off the taxpayers.

I doubt the oppo would actually win but i believe they would get a louder voice to veto the PAP's policies. First thing they must do is to prevent more foreign trash from invading sg.

more oppo in parliament might lead to softer or pork barrel PAP policies. but PAP can still push through all non-constitutional bills with a majority of 1 in parliament.

1st) cut down NS ( 12 to 18 months for NS and reservists cycles cut by half or end at 30 yrs old )

Another thing i would like to see if oppo wins is that former pap ministers are punished for the cover ups like mas selamat, flooding and all that and let's move on and of course ho ching's overseas fuck ups and opening up of all the accounts in MNCs like temasek for eg.
