From my understanding, there are a few vocationa in the saf that you will not have specky.

I knew a pri sch classmate with a unusual eye Condition that in pri sch he was already wearing a magnify glass specs. I was very surprised to see him in the signaller battalion still with the same spec.

Now commando also accepts ah bang and specky. But air force still can't accepts specky.
