Challenge to Pinky: Make whole of Sinkie society meritocratic, not just edu system

Since Old Fart's days, LEEgime has been harping on the fact that meritocracy is one of the cornerstones of its success at nation-building.

However LEEgime only stresses the importance of meritocracy in the educational system.

My rebuttal: meritoracy is also found in the educational systems in the USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc....

I challenge Pinky to ensure that meritocracy exists in every part of society and at work.

In order for the whole of Sinkie society to be truly meritocratic, Pinky will have to answer the following questions:

1. What merits does Pinky have to be the PM? Did Pinky become PM based on the fact that he is Old Fart's son?

2. What merits does Crocodile Tears Lim have to be appointed chairman of Temasick?

3. What merits does Pinky's husband, Ho Jinx, have to be CEO of Temasick?

The following is The Straits Times' editorial published on August 9, 2013, page A24:

Pay attention to the paragraph which begins with: "Every society has an elite, or core,......" It directly contradicts Pinky's claim of Sinkie society being a meritocratic one.

Sinkies know that the ST editorial often reflects LEEgime's official stance.

Leading and governing are not on the list
Were he to take up such a challenge
Him, wife and Paul will all face the sack
If he had not be immersed in calculus
He would have made a good comedian
