GUESS??? Pilots or Plane’s Fault in Air CECA crash?

Best analysis by Captain Steeeve, a current commercial flight pilot who has flown 777/787 and also a former Navy pilot:

Will the WP heroes raise this issue in Parliament ? How much must Temasick pay for Air India's misses ?

What kind of checks are put in place to ensure that the CECA pilots brought in to fly Scoot are not made of the same mould ?

Initially Air India blamed SQ for not maintaing their Boeing fleet, but black box data show it's pilot error.

The Indians will deny liability till the cows come home, just like they're still denying their Rafale jets were downed by the Pakis.
This legal Issue will be in US or overseas courts. Maybe London. Air India will have to settle or risk planes seized. SIA investment have just vanished.

Bad ergonomics putting fuel cut off switch under the throttle lever.
Now that reason for flight crash has been found, it's the airline that will need to compensate the passengers. Not Boeing.
SIA with it's 25% share willl be dragged to court.

yes...............i agree..............fuel cut off sure crash mah................

the switches should be placed outside the cockpit windows..................... :roflmao:

Solution is coming

Europe’s First AI Fighter Jet Took Off Over the Baltic Sea and This Could Soon Change the Face of Warfare

The AI logged a million virtual flight hours in three days. No pilot could compete.

This May, high above the Baltic Sea, a Swedish Gripen E fighter jet sliced through the air, with no pilot at the controls.

During two exercises conducted in May and June, the jet flew under the command of AI software developed by the high-flying defense startup Helsing. A safety pilot sat in the cockpit, but didn’t need to intervene. The test flights marked a milestone for the Munich-based defence tech company and a potential turning point for European military aviation.

Stephanie Lingemann, senior director at Helsing, called the shift “revolutionary.” Speaking at the company’s Munich office, she said that the company’s Centaur AI system gained the equivalent of one million flight hours in just 72 hours. That’s more than a hundred times what a human pilot might accumulate across an entire career. “You can get to superhuman performance very quickly,” she explained to the Financial Times. “And you are not having to send your pilots into dangerous situations.”

The findings suggest the mid-air disaster was not due to a mechanical flaw in the engines, but likely the result of human error. The fuel to the engine was cut.

India's Air Accident Investigation Bureau released a report revealing that the fuel control switches on the Boeing 787 were set to "cutoff" just seconds after takeoff, explaining why the widebody jet failed to gain sufficient lift after rotation. By the time the one pilot realized the fuel had been cut off and flipped the switches back to "run," it was too late. In all likelihood, the pilots panic and killed their operational engine.

Shawn Pruchnicki, a former airline accident investigator and aviation expert at Ohio State University, told The New York Times: "For example, on the 787 and probably more airliners these days, the switches themselves — you can't shut them off without actually lifting them up. So there's a little mechanical gate built into the switch — you have to lift it up over this little gate. So you can't just bump it."

SIA I don't know. But Scoot will be piloted by CECA.

CECA pilots have the ignominy of being the first in history to have brought down a 787 Dreamliner.

Scoot has many Dreamliners.
Fly Jetstar. No CECAkroach pilots.
Mostly professional Aussie pilots who crap no nonsense, well paid, well rested, no psychological issues and because of that safe to fly with. If they say aircraft is not fit to fly, the planes stays on the ground.
If SIA or Air India pilot try this, they will be penalised.

Jetstar has stopped flying within Asia.

Jetstar was my go-to budget airline. But Jetstar Asia is gone. Indian pilots aside, Scoot has had a lot of issues in recent years with punctuality, plane trouble, poor communication with passengers. Would rather fly transit with Air Asia than direct with Scoot.
