You’re clearly ignorant. Every literate person knows that Yanks trained and armed the Talibans to destabilise Russia in the previous millennium.According to the resident mudslimes whore...its the yanks that trained the terrorists
I'm afraid you and "every literate person" are wrong buddy. The Taliban were not a part of that conflict. The US backed insurgents fought among themselves after the soviets left and it was the paki trained Taliban who came in to mop up the bickering fools. Any one see a parallel with the CCP?You’re clearly ignorant. Every literate person knows that Yanks trained and armed the Talibans to destabilise Russia in the previous millennium.
You are almost right. The US armed the Mujahideen as a Cold War tool against Soviet Union, not Taliban, correct. But these Arab fighters (whom later became Taliban) were supported and facilitated by CIA. The CIA delegated the weapons distribution to ISI (the Paki). This is the source of the weapons. The Carter and Reagan administration perpetuated war against the Soviets by supporting Islamic radicalism, supporting arms initially directly to the Mujahideen and later via the Pakis (ISI). The CIA created a hotbed for Islamic radicalism to flourish. The Talibans grew larger and stronger and wrestled control of the country and whatever arms that existed from the Mujahideens. So tell me, is the US responsible for the chaos the Afghans are living with today, for the 2nd time in 50 years?I'm afraid you and "every literate person" are wrong buddy. The Afghans were used as pawns just like the in the Middle -East countries. If that is true, then it's tit for tat. It was the Americans that invaded Afghanistan. Punishing the Al Qaeda was a valid excuse after the 911 attack.
Some of the objectives for the US to remain in Afghanistan was to contain Pakistan and China, for the CIA to disrupt the BRI, to use the Uighurs to destabilize China from within Xinjiang.
It was never about helping the Afghans have a better life.
